Selena Gomez Talks About Love, Friends In Elle's October Issue

Selena Gomez, 23, is now becoming her own woman. She has been lying low for the past year or so but now she is coming back, more mature, more regal, more authentic than she ever was. The ex-Disney star posed for her second cover of ELLE USA magazine October issue, wherein she dons a sultrier look, giving her a mature vibe. Her dark long locks were puffed up and to compliment the look, she used dark eyeshadow that is reminiscent of old Hollywood.

She is stripping away from the Selena Gomez we have all known since her debut in Disney Channel. She has been all over the limelight lately, with the impending release of her new album, Revival this Oct. 9. She also separated with her long-time manager, her mother, and her old record label; she is now signed under Interscope. Selena is a successful artist, with three gold albums and a greatest hit collection under her wings.

In the magazine she talks about all the decisions she has made over the past year, the parting of her ways from her mother/manager and her old record label. She says that she wants to be uncomfortable, and to try out new things. In an expert from ELLE's website, she says, "That's why I made all of these decisions within a year. I wanted to be my own person. I wanted to test myself. I wanted to see if I could really do it."

Selena also talks about famous ex-beau, Justin Beiber, in the issue, saying that she's dating again but finding someone is not her main goal. And if there was any chance of reconciliation between the two, to find out you have to buy the issue. She also mildly talks about her famous squad, especially her longtime friend Taylor Swift.
