Is Metabolism The Real Culprit Of Fast Weight Gain?

It is said that slow metabolism can cause fast weight gain. But should people really blame metabolism for having stored fats and a heavy body?  Is slow metabolism the real culprit?

Working out can help stabilize or hasten metabolism and burn more excess calories and fats from the body.

Is metabolism really associated with a person's body weight? According to a study, whether a person has slow or fast metabolism, it can only affect a small part in gaining weight. Metabolism is a reaction to which preserves or stabilizes the existing state of a person's body cell and organisms. Metabolism is also linked to catabolism which controls the molecule in the human body to acquire energy.

Metabolism is also a body reaction the converts the food intake to energy. In order for the body to operate or function, food that is concumed must be united with oxygen.

Energy is one of the most important needs of our body since it is the one that is helping our system to grow, repair cells, and circulate blood. Energy gives the human body the ability to work.

A simple rest and sleep doesn't make energy boost the body but the need for food and metabolism is required to have an energetic and productive day. There are factors in life and human body that can strongly affect metabolism. Some of these factors is the person's age, gender and physical activity.

Weight gain is mostly caused by increased food intake. Controlling and lessening  food intake is key to losing weight and it has nothing to do with a person's metabolic rate.

A study also concludes that some medical conditions can affect and slow down metabolism.  It is advised to have a normal and regular diet, enough sleep, physical activities and avoid stress as long as you can.
