Lil Wayne's Miami Mansion Raided, $2M Property Seized

It's definitely another cut from Lil Wayne's wealth. Recent reports have claimed that Lil Wayne's Miami Beach mansion was raided by the police and among his assets that were moved down was a $2m property, as ordered by a judge working on a civil case, which involved the rapper and one private jet leasing company.

As confirmed by a spokesperson from the Miami-Dade County Sheriff's department, Lil Wayne reportedly owed more than $2 million to the complainant as stated in the lawsuit. Last September 30, a Miami judge ordered the authorities to take the liability in assets from the rapper's house.

Reports say that the lawsuit was for Lil Wayne's missed payments to the Signature Group company. In addition, Miami-Dade County Judge, Lisa S. Walsh reportedly declined the request for a 'break order' coming from the complainant, allowing the authorities to raid Wayne's mansion with or without consent.

However,  on Tuesday, October 30 at around three in the afternoon, Walsh changed her decision and released a new order. The change of decisions was partially based from an issued affidavit from an alleged real estate agent, who "had recently been inside the defendant's home and attested that there was assets inside.", as stated on the Signature's lawsuit.

In the aftermath, the authorities arrived at Wayne's residence and seized various items from the house. As shown on a helicopter video footage from the raiding, reports say that among the items taken out was a wrapped artwork from his $30 million worth of art collection.

This is not the first time that Lil Wayne has engaged himself in a lawsuit. Back in 2010, he was also charged an eight-month stay behind bars after he pleaded guilty to second degree illegal possession of weapons back in the year 2007.

Amidst facing another lawsuit, Lil Wayne appears to be unmoved and is in fact busy finishing some projects for the year. Just last Monday, November 2, the rapper announced that he'll be debuting a new mix-tape entitled 'No Ceilings 2'.
