Christie Brinkley is no doubt a timeless beauty, even at 61 she still looks young and beautiful. But apparently her youthful glow was a result from several treatments, which she outlined along with her beauty tips and tricks in her new book 'Timeless Beauty.'
The model who graced the covers of over 500 magazines shared some exciting pages of her new book to The Mail on Sunday and revealed that she is always interested in undergoing any treatment that would benefit her skin. Brinkley confessed that she used the power of technology to get rid some of her unwanted lines.
The former 'Playboy' cover girl admitted she once tried Botox injected to her forehead but described the procedure a "disaster." She recalled it made her face looked "sad" and "lacked of expression." After experiencing the undesirable effect she never tried it again.
Recently she tried the anti- aging injection another go, this time in her neck, after she noticed there are some "vertical bands" appearing into her neck area. Christie was thrilled with the results as it "relax" the muscles and it tightened her "double chin area and jawline." She said her favorite part was "you don't have to worry about any expression being lost or changed."
She also shared her dermal filler secrets. Brinkley said she used it in "super-tiny doses, and just like make-up." The model said she used it on an "indentation on my forehead" and on "marionette lines around my mouth."
The mother of three also revealed she tried laser treatment and said it was "nothing short of miraculous." She had also undergone radiofrequency waves to diminish the wrinkles in her knees and described the outcome "amazing."
Brinkley also revealed that she's currently suffering hair loss and it was due to her previous pregnancy and "menopause." She also pointed out that other people experience the condition due to "crash dieting." She said the problem is concealable and her solution is hair extensions. She said she wears it everywhere even at the "gym" or "rainy days."
Meanwhile, Brinkley along with Denzel Washington, was voted with best smiles in a poll that was conducted by teeth whitening brand Luster Premium White. The result was released on Friday, according to Us Magazine.
