Apple iPhone 7 Will Be More Expensive

Apple's upcoming iPhone 7 will be more expensive and will offer new features in its design and hardware, recent rumors say.

Even if the iPhone 6s has just been released, rumors and speculations about Apple's upcoming iPhone are circulating on the Internet. The new device which is likely to be launched on September 2016, is said to be more expensive as the American company focuses on making their phone thinner.

Recently, a reliable source has revealed that the highly anticipated iPhone 7 will no longer have 3.5 mm headphone jack as Apple plans to replace it with an all-in-one Lightning connector.

If the said rumor is true, iPhone 7 will be 1mm thinner than the iPhone 6s device. This also means that for the coming version of iPhone, users will have to buy a new set of headphones in order to satisfy the Lightning technology feature.

Last June 2104, Apple announced their new MFi Program that allowed third party companies to manufacture headphones compatible with the Lightning technology.

Buying the said headphones will cost users more money as the third party certification fees will be passed on to the consumers. If the users will not buy the headphones, they can acquire an Apple DtoA adaptor in which they will add an extra $100.

Some critics already stated that the Lightning based headphones will offer some disadvantages. Several commentators also said that the planned changes are a huge gamble for Apple.

On the other hand, several reports unveiled details about the iPhone 7 in terms of design of hardware.

G for Games reported that Apple is currently testing five different iPhone 7 models. The game developer also stated that each model has different specifications suggesting that the American company has not yet fully decided the iPhone's details.

Rumors also stated that the tech giant is recently experimenting various technology for their new device. These technologies include USB Type-C connector, wireless charging technology and AMOLED display technology.
