They are Canadians, Avril Lavigne and Chad Kroeger. She has been doing her own music and is well-known as Avril Lavigne for some years now, and Chad Kroeger is part of Nickelback, a band that has been in the radar for several years as well.
They got married in France and things seemed to be working out swimmingly for them both. Avril Lavigne had even made a twitter post in July saying, "I still can't believe my 1 year anniversary gift. 17 carat emerald cut. Wow. I love my hubby."
Now that same post is deleted, together with most posts related to Chad in Avril's twitter account.
Also, in Sept. 29th edition of US Weekly, a source said that Chad has been around L.A. saying that it is over indeed.
Another proof is that Avril has been seen going out with her friends and she didn't have the ring on anymore.
If that wasn't enough, it has also been said that Avril's friends don't like Chad at all and he talks in a nasty way about her behind her back.
All these are big indicators of a divorce coming soon indeed between Avril Lavigne and Chad Kroeger. This wouldn't be the first divorce that Avril Lavigne has faced. She was married for four years to Sum 41's Deryck Whibley.
It would be a shame though, as Avril Lavigne and Chad Kroeger have been together ever since Let Me Go song they did in a duet.
Now, with this divorce, Avril Lavigne and Chad Kroeger are really heading to letting each other go indeed and not in a duet but on separate ways.
