Orange is the New Black sets boundaries in jail when it comes to prison treatment and discipline. For Dascha Polanco, she sets the rules for herself. Polanco tells all about her nudity scene preferences.
The OITNB actress plays a latina in-mate in the all-female correctional facility as Dayanara Diaz who became pregnant after enaging her affections with a correcional facility officer.
OITNB is known for its rated scenes and Polanco shares her thoughts on the idea.
Diaz just recently scored a spot in a drama film titled "Joy" where Jennifer Lawrence also stars. On New York Post's Page Six, she lays it all down on what her rules are when it comes to on-screen nudity.
"I would do a nude scene for an independent film, if it is a good story", Polanco told Page Six during the Gotham Independent Film Awards. Clearly she is being cautious about her next on-screen roles.
But the actress loves the chase when she said "I better be the lead though, let's keep it real." It makes sense. For the actress, it means prime time when you're showing your personal geography. She goes on to add, "The only restriction I would have is a 'hoo-ha' patch and some pasties. I am sure that it would be a professional setting, so I would be comfortable with that."
Well, screenwriters, indie creators, producers and directors, these are Miss Diaz's conditions.
Dascha Polanco plays Jackie in "Joy". Jackie is Joy's best friend. The film focuses on the life of Joy Mangano, a mother of three children going through a divorce while she builds her business empire after her invention of the Miracle Mop. Jennifer Lawrence plays the lead role of the inventor and single mother.
