Jenna Wolfe’s Pregnancy and on Becoming Today’s First Lifestyle Correspondent

 Weekend Today's news anchor Jenna Wolfe left the weekend editions of NBC's morning show to take a new role on the weekday show.  She was to start her new job on 19th September, 2014.

 Jenna will be a fitness correspondent and additionally, Today's first lifestyle correspondent. In her news, she covers topics on healthy living, wellness, strength and body improvement.

 According to NBC News president Deborah Turness, Jenna will serve as NBC News national lifestyle correspondent. She stated that Jenna's brilliance and expertise in health topics and reporting had made her an obvious choice for the role.

 In last Friday's episode, Jenna stated that she was looking forward to her new role. Jokingly adding that having worked on weekends, she was anxious to know what happened on Friday night.

Jenna's role in Today's weekend show started in the year 2007. She served as co-anchor for five years before being promoted to work as news anchor.

 As if that wasn't enough of a huge life move in itself, the former anchor appeared on the same episode of Today to announce her second pregnancy. The couple's first child Harper Estelle celebrated her first birthday on Thursday.

On Friday, Wolfe announced that she is due to have a second child, another pregnancy to the latest Today show baby boom.

 In the past, Jenna has shared the ups and downs of expecting a child on her TODAY.com blog. She had described pregnancy as a not-so-fun experience. She has also shared her experiences on the fun that comes with bathing a baby, taking baby photos and the emotional discomfort that comes when a mother leaves her child overnight.

Last September, Jenna wrote that if somebody had asked her the meaning of parenthood, she would have shrugged her shoulders. She added that all she truly knew about parenthood is performing house chores and loving unconditionally.
