We are still in the early months of 2016, but these diet trends are sure to take the world by storm, especially the American landscape. A healthy diet should be your goal. Adding some color by the way of new trends will be more fun and versatile.

Biodynamic Diet

This embraces a holistic view of nature. Food is grown, harvested and even consumed in accordance with lunar cycles. Food synergy is the basis of the biodynamic diet.

The foods are free of synthetic pesticides or fertilizers and grown on entirely self-sustaining farms. It is also called as the happiness diet because the food synergies that exist between unprocessed and whole foods is good for the brain.

Grass fed

The grass feeding improves the quality of the meat. The cows are allowed to roam freely, enjoy the sunshine and eat naturally occurring vegetation.

The grass fed cows have twice the amount of beta-carotene and their cholesterol level is lower. Conjugated linoleic acid content is higher in grass fed cows.

This involves cultivating awareness as a way of life. The mindfulness diet establishes a healthy relationship to eating, body weight, body image, and exercise.
