August Osage County Actress, Misty Upham, Was Found Dead And Rumors Spread

August Osage County Actress - Misty Upham played the caretaker in "August Osage County" (2013) and was found dead near a river in the south of Seattle, Washington.

Misty Upham, who was 32 years old, has gone missing from her house in Seattle, Washington on Oct. 5 and on Oct. 17 a body was found and believed to be hers. Her family confirmed the identity later on that same day.

This came as a big shock to her fellow actors and to her family as well. As a matter of fact, her family doesn't believe that she has committed suicide, as she considered it a sin and wouldn't go through with that.

An interesting detail that her father mentioned is that the "August Osage County" actress was painted by the media in her glamorous days, but that at the current moment the situation had been very different.

"It wasn't like she decided to take some time off. She's out there, she's missing, she needs help," he said before Upham's body was discovered.

Misty Upham is known for playing roles in "Frozen River" (2008), "Django Unchained" (2012), "August Osage County," as mentioned before, and she will be appearing in "Cake" (2014).

According to US Weekly, the actress suffered from bipolar disorder and the family's first complain after the missing was to the authorities, who didn't respond promptly and the family had to do the search by themselves.

After the August Osage County's actress body was discovered, Meryl Streep shared her feelings on the matter.

"So, so sad to hear this news - all our thoughts are with her family and her beautiful spirit," the Daily Mail noted.

And Juliette Lewis, who also played a role in August Osage County and was a close friend of the actress, has been posting messages on twitter non-stop, sharing her grief and also asking for donations to have a proper memorial.

"Do not stand at my grave and weep, I am not there, I do not sleep. I am a thousand winds that blow, I am diamond glints in the snow," was part of a poem Juliette Lewis wrote for her August Osage County co-star and friend, Misty Upham.
