The undercover police investigators who received a file from Wilson's computer found images of children as young as 2 years old engaged in sexual conduct; grossly inappropriate. The images and files led to Morgan's arrest, breaking the story former Top Chef Desserts contestant arrested.

Morgan Wilson admitted to downloading of the child pornography material from the internet and saving them. They were later downloaded by investigators.

The former Top Chef desserts contestant arrested, Wilson, was released on December 16, 2010 on a bail of $10,000. He would no longer access a computer without a monitoring software.

The executive pastry chef from The Lobby Lounge at the Dallas Ritz Carlton Hotel was later relieved of his duties at the hotel following the accusations. The hotel even removed the chef's bio from their website, distancing themselves from the former television contestant.
