There's a significant seriousness in the atmosphere when Good Wife Season 6 returns this Sunday. For one thing, Cary Agos' criminal case is getting more and more intense as a State's Attorney office representative talks him into testifying against Lemon Bishop in exchange for a lighter sentence. Cary is going to decline the offer, but he sure is disturbed of what's to come for him. "They're going to convict me, Kalinda. We don't have a case. Actor Matt Czuchry, who plays Cary, recently revealed that his mother has noticed that he has been channeling the stress that his character is experiencing on the show. She noticed that [I] was "bent over" and seemed lower "because of the weight of what was going on." He then added that despite the challenging role, he finds everything exciting and rewarding all the same. "Everything has been very taxing in order to make these scenes believable and interesting, where the audience is really feeling what your character is going through," he said. "You can kind of point to specific (episodes) where things fundamentally change with the characters . . . and (there's an) overall ripple effect. I'll be interested to see what the audience thinks."
Apart from Cary's story line, Alicia Florrick's is also getting tougher and tougher as she decides to give it her all for State's Attorney. Avid viewers will be surprised when Alicia and her estranged husband Peter Florrick make their first public appearance just so she can secure her campaign. "Alicia needs to shore up her support among police and firefighters - not due to anything she did wrong, but because Peter, as governor, has been messing with their pensions. Alicia also deals with her own private knowledge that the opposition has compromising photos at their disposal," said Executive Producer Robert King.
