Scream Queens Official Trailer Released [VIDEO]

Scream Queens is FOX' latest comedy horror TV series and the broadcasting company just released a nearly 3-minute long trailer on Tuesday. The show will be produced by Ryan Murphy, who was also the brains behind American Horror Story, and will air in September

Said to be a homage to the slasher films of the '80s and '90s, Scream Queens will also be produced by Brad Falchuk and Ian Brennan. FOX officially picked up the series and ordered 15 episodes in October last year.

Murphy revealed that every episode will kill off one character, an act similar to what is done on The Game of Thrones - although big deaths on the latter happen almost every season. Each week, viewers will be left wondering who will be killed off next, who will survive, and who is actually committing the crimes.

The story will be set in Wallace University, where a serial killer hunts for revenge 20 years after the death of a pledge who was living in the Kappa sorority house.

Besides the terrifying and creepy things already happening at the sorority house, the trailer shows a person wearing a red devil outfit, scaring students and anyone he runs into.

Emma Roberts, Ariana Grande and Abigail Breslin are set to play the Kappa sorority girls, with Roberts casted as the president of Kappa. The star-studded cast also includes Skyler Samuels, Keke Palmer, Lea Michelle, Oliver Hudson, Nasim Pedrad and Billi Lourd.

Other supporting characters will be played by Jamie Lee Curtis, Glen Powell, Niecy Nash, Diego Bonita, Lucien Laviscount and Nick Jonas. Curtis will be playing the dean of Wallace University.

TV enthusiasts are now anticipating the horror anthology series, after FOX released a series of teasers before finally showing the first official trailer.
