Lil Wayne Net Worth: Cash Money Records Lawsuit Claims Label Owes Money to Nicki Minaj, Tyga, Drake

Lil Wayne and Birdman have yet to settle their feud, even though the former's lawsuit against Cash Money Records and the latter is still "moving forward," as reported by Complex.

However, new details have emerged: Lil Wayne claims that the record label also owes a lot of money to Drake, Nicki Minaj, and Tyga.

TMZ also reports that obtained legal reports from Lil Wayne's party claims that he's also got letters from Drake and Tyga's people saying that "they got stiffed out of a fortune."

In another letter, Nicki Minaj's people say that her producers also didn't receive their money from Young Money. Meanwhile, Lil Wayne says that it's the label's responsibility to pay producers.

Allegations against Cash Money Records' financial mishaps are actually huge. Young Money claims that they were supposed to receive a large part from a $100 million advance from Universal Music Group.

In fact, Young Money is still waiting for their cut of that $100 million that went straight to Cash Money Records.

However, Cash Money claims that Lil Wayne and his company didn't put up his end of the bargain - they're supposed to push out 21 albums in seven years, but they've only made 13 as of this point in time.

Furthermore, Cash Money claims that the company gave Lil Wayne a $20 million advance for Young Money back in 2012, while another $12 million was for Lil Wayne's solo album and a separate $70 million in advances, royalties, marketing and recording costs for other Young Money artists.

It's a pretty stiff battle between the two record labels and only time (and the court) can tell how this will all pan out.

Lil Wayne is the main man behind Young Money, whose parent company is Cash Money Records - which Birdman owns. Lil Wayne net worth is $150 million.
