Charles Manson’s Wedding Canceled … As Manson Discovers Bride Afton Elaine Burton Is Nuts [PHOTOS]

The world had been following news of Charles Manson's wedding to 27 year-old Afton Elaine Burton with a fair amount of morbid interest, as it means that a young woman was disturbed enough to want to marry the most famous serial killer in recent history - but now it seems Manson himself has canceled the wedding, and the reasons will shock you.

Everyone in the world who knew about Charles Manson's wedding assumed the woman willing to tie the knot with the famous murderer was seriously psychologically disturbed, but the amount of crazy the woman had in her was well beyond what had been previously thought, after it was found that she just wanted to have Manson's corpse for display.

According to The Independent, a journalist named Daniel Simone got knowledge of Afton Elaine Burton's ulterior motives for going through a Charles Manson wedding: she wanted to gain access to his corpse once he died so he could be put on display in a glass case.

The news that Charles Manson's wedding is off came from an exclusive story by The New York Post, as it was revealed that the whole thing was too crazy for him. It seems that Burton, who has changed her name to Star, wanted legal custody of Manson's body upon his death, as she and her friend Craig Hammond planned to lay out the remains of the man famous for the Sharon Tate murders for display, and earn a lot of money by doing so.

Basically, Burton and Hammond wanted to make a Vladimir Lenin version of the famous serial killer, taking it from the famous tomb of the communist leader, which still stands in the Russian capital.

People Magazine reports that, once the whole plot came out, Manson himself was the one to cancel the ceremony, after they couple had met nearly ten years ago, when Burton was 19 and began visiting him.

Who would've thought that the reason Charles Manson's wedding was to be canceled was because he thought his bride was too crazy for him.
