A few months after Chrissy Teigen received death threats on Twitter that forced her to quit the social network until things were cooled down, Iggy Azalea's Twitter was the latest victim of excessive trolling, when the rapper quit the social network after receiving some heavy backlash in the 140 character-based site.
While it's not the first time that Iggy Azalea's Twitter account gets heavily trolled, it seems the "Fancy" singer has had quite enough of it already; first, it was other stars like Snoop Dogg and Eminem, now, she's stormed out of the social network after a bikini photo where some cellulite was visible in her body - so she was basically trolled over looking the way a normal woman looks!
According to The Independent, the latest Iggy Azalea Twitter issue came about after the native Australian singer and rapper found that, during a holiday she'd taken with her boyfriend, paparazzi had snapped a shot of her in a bikini. It seems that when she got back into her social media account, it was crowded with people dissing her over the fact that there's visible cellulite in the shots, which show off the assets of the "Booty" singer.
Billboard reports that Iggy Azalea's Twitter ended up receiving so much backlash over the pictures that she ultimately decided to call it quits altogether from the site, saying she'd be taking a break from social media to be able to properly relax, stating that she's completely unable to do so between the paparazzi and the people throwing hate at her on Twitter.
According to The Verge, Iggy Azalea's Twitter rant didn't specifically call out haters, but it's clear from checking out her replies that things have gotten a little out of control - and it wouldn't be the first time that happened.
Last year, following the death of her father Robin Williams, Zelda Williams was forced to quit Twitter after being harassed by many people over the already traumatic occurrence.
"The Internet is the ugliest reflection of man kind there is," said Iggy Azalea's Twitter before she took a break from it.
