Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson's San Andreas Movie To Hit Theaters This Week!

You may want to save seats in theater for this upcoming American action-adventure disaster film "San Andreas." The amazing cast composed of Dwayne Johnson, Alexandra Daddario, Carla Gugino, Colton Haynes, Kylie Minogue will reel you in on all the real deal of what it is like in coursing through a disaster!

The film directed by Brad Peyton for New Line Cinema (Warner Bros.) and Village Roadshow Pictures garnered a PG-13 rating for the film's intense disaster action and brief strong language. "The Rock's" San Andreas movie can be enjoyed in 2-D, 3-D and even in 4-D.

San Andreas  is about the devastating destruction that spread throughout Los Angeles and San Francisco when hit by a magnitude 9 earthquake. Dwayne Johnson, a search-and-rescue helicopter pilot must do all he can to save his daughter. The movie relives the fear of all Californians - An Earthquake Disaster! Dwayne and his wife make their way together from Los Angeles to San Francisco to save their only daughter who is lost somewhere in the rubble. As they begin their treacherous journey, the worst of the earthquake's destruction was also warming up.

 

San Andreas is one of the most dangerous earthquake faults due to it's length. Director Brad Peyton made sure that the audience can actually feel the panic when a 9.2 magnitude earthquake causes a building in downtown L.A. to collapse. That five-minute scene alone was done in one take and took 2 months of rehearsals and involved 75 stunt people.

Dwayne Johnson being the tremendous actor and all-around entertaining actor  that he is, is genetically built to occupy a big action movie like San Andreas. Movie thrill-seekers will also enjoy this action packed movie with scenes of  "The Rock" skydiving into San Francisco's AT&T Park, rappelling out of a suspended helicopter underwater rescue . All of which are his kind of thing. The director also used more close-up and tight shots to enhance the claustrophobiha and terror when watching the movie. This was Director Brad Peyton's objective to depict the deep inward experience of panic in an earthquake disaster.
