Ellie Goulding admitted she was the one who played cupid for the one of the hottest couples today, the Bad Blood hit maker Taylor Swift and Scottish DJ Calvin Harris. The Burn hit maker thought that they were a good match and they will look good together because they're both tall.
The 28 year old confessed in the UK newspaper The Sun at the Glamour Awards on Tuesday that she played the matchmaker role, "Calvin is a really great mate and he's so fantastic, and Taylor is such a cool person who I love" she added, "I thought, 'They're both really awesome and both really tall, they'll brilliant together'."
The 5'10'' tall Swift and 6'5" Calvin have been utterly quiet about their ongoing relationship, but both of them have been stepping out together after hanging out at the 2015 Brit Awards back in February, where Goulding presented her BFF Swift the 'International Female Brit Award.'
Goulding also clarified the issue in On Demand Entertainment on Monday about the Instagram photo that she posted where she was partying with Taylor's Swift frenemy Katy Perry, the picture which she suddenly deleted over the weekend. Ellie thought it manifested a bad example for herself as she was a bit drunk and that it appeared bad. She also said that "I'm great friends with Katy. I'm great friends with Taylor."
While Calvin visited Taylor's hometown of Nashville, Ellie thinks that it won't be long that the couple will pay a visit to Dumfries where Calvin grew up.
Aside from Ellie, the Thinking Out Loud singer Ed Sheeran also thinks that Calvin and Swift are a perfect match. Back in May at Auckland, New Zealand the 24 year old shared his thoughts in ZM Online backstage at his show. Where he said that Calvin is a very nice guy.
