‘Wet Hot American Summer’ Netflix Sequel Out July 31: ‘First Day Of Camp’ Full Trailer, From Bradley Cooper To Paul Rudd! [VIDEO]

The release for the follow-up of "Wet Hot American Summer" on Netflix is fast approaching as the season reaches its peak, and the popular streaming site and production company's celebrating with the miniseries' first full trailer, which features some of the major celebrities up for the challenge of the "First Day of Camp"!

The "Wet Hot American Summer" Netflix miniseries seems like the right amount of campy - no pun intended - and fun, and some of Hollywood's biggest names are up for the ride, including Oscar nominee Bradley Cooper, newest Marvel Cinematic Universe addition Paul Rudd, "SNL" alum Amy Poehler and "Mad Men" star Jon Hamm.

According to The Verge, the "Wet Hot American Summer" Netflix miniseries is actually a prequel to the 2001 film, and the new trailer, the first full one for the upcoming movie, it's full of the quirky humor that turned the original movie into a cult classic.

Time Magazine reports that some of the stars "Wet Hot American Summer" Netflix miniseries will also be Christopher Meloni, Kristen Wiig, Elizabeth Banks, John Slattery and Michael Cera, plus a sweet voice cameo from someone who sounds an awful lot like H. Jon Benjamin, the voice of the title character in the cult animated series "Archer."

According to Vanity Fair, the "Wet Hot American Summer" Netflix will see a second big appearance by Rudd this month, as he joins box office success as the newest Marvel superhero in the role of Ant-Man, with his own film set to be released later this month, only two weeks before the Netflix prequel.

Practically all the key actors of the original film have returned for the prequel, which tells the opposite story as the original: while in the 2001 venture they were on the last day of summer at Camp Firewood, this will see them on the very first day.

Surely, there will be plenty of jokes regarding how they look suspiciously 14 years older than a few weeks later!
