‘MythBusters’ Test Out ‘Breaking Bad’ Trunk Machine Gun [VIDEO]

Probably one of the most badass scenes in the whole "Breaking Bad" series was during its finale, when Walter White - played by Bryan Cranston - constructs an automated machine gun from the trunk of his car.

In case you haven't seen the finale yet (why, wouldn't you, though?), Walter White created the machine gun, which would automatically pop up from his car's trunk and fire until it run out of bullets.

He ended up saving Jesse Pinkman's - portrayed by Aaron Paul - life. Walter White eventually died along with plenty more bodies as Jesse Pinkman got away to safety.

Now, "MythBusters" Adam Savage and Jamie Hyneman have put that trunk machine gun to the test - determining whether it was really feasible or not.

As always, Adam Savage and Jamie Hyneman constructed the same machine using the same things Walter White did too - which were found in retail stores.

Adam Savage explains all the components of the autonomous machine gun:

"It has not been an easy build, but we are finally at the stage where all the major components of Walt's build are here: box end wrenches pivoting off a garage door opener, the gun on a chair swivel mounted to a piece of standard shallow conduit. I have added one thing, which is to get a 41-geared reduction; I've added a 10-speed cassette to the edge of the garage door opener. But again, all of this is stuff you could buy within a local town like Walt had to do and check it out: it totally operates!"

They've also recruited the help of wooden Nazis as stand-ins as well as "Breaking Bad" producer Vince Gilligan!

"Man, I'm seriously ready to see this thing go," Vince Gilligan said all giddy.

The gun is then prepared with "200 live rounds locked and loaded." Watch the video below to see if Walter White of "Breaking Bad" made a "plausible" trunk machine gun.
