HP Reveals 'Star Wars' Special Edition Notebook - Complete With R2-D2 Sounds! [PHOTOS + VIDEOS]

"Star Wars" fans! If you've got some extra cash lying around, this might just be a good investment for you - or maybe just a new toy to play with!

HP just revealed their "Star Wars" Special Edition Notebook - and it's probably every geek's dream laptop with its great attention to detail.

Here's an apt description of a few design features from Engadget:

"On the one hand, a notebook covered in images of Stormtroopers and the X-wing Star Fighter Guidance System, with Aurebesh lettering replacing English, is even dorkier than your typical gaming rig (and that's saying a lot). On the other, the 'Star Wars' notebook is so committed in its dorkiness that it's hard not to be impressed by HP and Disney's attention to detail."

Even the packaging is laid with "Star Wars" tidbits: both the large outer box and a smaller box (that houses cables and stuff) inside is covered with Darth Vader images, while the foam inserts are shaped like an Imperial starfighter.

In addition to the images on the 15-inch notebook, it also has a distressed finish on the lid - making it feel like it is "battleworn." The touchpad is also designed with the heads-up display from Luke Skywalker's Death Star trench run.

The hinge also boasts "Galactic Empire" in Aurebesh font. The laptop also has a neoprene laptop sleeve and a wireless mouse as matching accessories. Even its software has "Star Wars" details. Instead of a Recycle Bin, you can find a Death Star icon.

The system sounds can be changed to R2-D2 or lightsaber sounds, and Aurebesh system font can be replaced. Check out this Vine video of the action (make sure your volume is up):

It gets even better: HP pre-loaded the notebook with over 1,100 images including themes, galleries, screensavers, wallpapers, behind-the-scenes photos, storyboards, movie posters, classic photos, and set and costume designs - it's really for the die-hard "Star Wars" fan.

As for the specs, a press release states:
