Over the past few weeks, Burger King's been setting an example of how sometimes you win one only to lose shortly after; after their widely successful McWhopper campaign inviting McDonald's to make a Peace Day Burger, now Burger King's Halloween treat, a black burger, has been getting all kinds of bad press - and now even a couple's costume for the holidays.
Shortly after the official release of Burger King's Halloween menu, people who had just eaten the chain's black buns started reporting that their poop was green because of it, a story that obviously went viral - and Internet being what it is, someone posted a DIY way to dress up as the viral story.
According to Bustle, a "Sexy Green Poop Costume" has now gone viral, and of course, it comes from a DYI couple's costume: the way they've put it, the guy plays Burger King's Halloween burger while the girl goes as "sexy poop," though surely there can be gender-bent versions of this creative costume.
HalloweenCostumes.com, a website obviously specialized in dressing up for the occasion during this fun October holiday, released their step-by-step way to dress up as the Burger King Halloween special, suggesting a third costume just in case you don't want to leave one buddy out: one can go as the Black Bun burger, then a poop costume and, of course, the Burger King himself as well.
"If you and your significant other choose this idea for your Halloween 2015 couples costume, rest assured you will be the "butt" of everyone's costume jokes...but in a good way," suggests the websites, according to Metro, regarding their Burger King Halloween costume tutorial. "Just be prepared to hear, "nice buns" quite a few times throughout the evening. If, on the other hand, people tell you you look like crap? Well we're not sure how to take that. There's no manual for stuff like this."
