Tragically enough, now that Leonard (Johnny Galecki) and Penny (Kaley Cuoco) are finally as happy as can be and even tied the knot in the "Big Bang Theory" season 9 premiere, the actress has announced that she's pursuing a Kaley Cuoco divorce from husband Ryan Sweeting less than two years after getting married - and rumors say Galecki may have been involved in the split.
Before Cuoco met Sweeting, the actress and her co-star dated for about two years while keeping their relationship as private as possible, though they've remained friends since the split, so much so that there are reports that perhaps they may have had a "fling" that prompted Kaley Cuoco's divorce.
According to the "8 Simple Rules" actress, however, Galecki couldn't have been less involved in Kaley Cuoco's divorce if he had tried to; as Hollywood Life reports, each of the two actors took to Instagram to share snaps of the two together, setting the record straight.
"So sorry to disappoint, but no home wreckers or secret flings going on here," the 29 year-old actress captioned her picture with Galecki, according to People Magazine, while addressing rumors about him being the reason behind Kaley Cuoco's divorce. "Me and @sanctionedjohnnygalecki are just the best of buds - Leonard and Penny will just have to suffice!!!"
Following Kaley's lead, 40 year-old Galecki also posted a sweet snap of the pair, saying there were "no scandals" involving him in Kaley Cuoco's divorce, "just profound friendship" - so they definitely want everyone to be aware of what's really going down between them!
As Us Weekly reports, even before Cuoco and Sweeting confirmed they'd be legally separating, the actress had shared time and again that the two remained friends after having dated years back, and that in fact Galecki and Sweeting got along great, much to everyone's comfort.
In the weeks following Kaley Cuoco's divorce announcement, all kinds of rumors regarding her marital life have come out.
