Atomic Wedgie Murder: Oklahoma Man Accused of Using Underwear to Kill Stepfather (VIDEO)

An Oklahoma man has been charged with killing his stepfather by giving him an "atomic wedgie."

According to Yahoo News, Brad Lee Davis was arrested Wednesday by Pottawatomie County Sheriff's Deputies and charged with murdering 58-year-old Denver St. Clair during a drunken family fight at a residence just east of Oklahoma City on Dec. 21.

The County Sheriff's Office said a fight between the two erupted when St. Clair reportedly spoke badly about his wife, who was Davis' mother. Reuters reported that during the fight Davis, a former Marine, knocked St. Clair unconscious.

"[Davis then] grabbed St. Clair's underwear and gave him an 'atomic wedgie,'" Reuters reported. "Davis allegedly pulled the elastic waistband of St. Clair's underwear over his head and around his neck."

Reuters also reported that the underwear left ligature marks around St. Clair's neck. Police reportedly found blood splatter in the kitchen and the living room and the living room ceiling. The incident caused St. Clair to suffocate on his own underwear. Oklahoma Medical Examiner spokeswoman Amy Elliott confirmed that St. Clair's cause of death was asphyxiation and blunt force trauma.

According to local news station KFOR, authorities believe Davis might have tampered with the crime scene in order to make the incident look like self-defense.

"I can't imagine how you do that to your stepfather, choke him with his underwear." Shawnee resident Peggy Springer told KFOR. "People knew him. And then to be killed like that is just outrageous."

According to the report, Davis is being held at Pottawatomie County without bond.
