Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt's latest movie 'By The Sea' is finally coming in theaters on Friday. The new film which is about marriage issues is the third directorial project of the Academy Award winning actress.
Besides directing the film, the 40-year-old Hollywood star is also the writer of the story used in the film which proves how well-rounded Angelina Jolie is. Jolie is among the few lucky actresses in the industry who had the opportunity to direct films.
The 'Maleficent' star's two other directorial projects 'In the Land of Blood' and 'Honey and Unbroken' are also written by her.
For the marital film 'By The Sea,' Angelina Jolie had the chance to direct her own husband Brad Pitt which she considers challenging yet fun. The movie is the first project of Pitt which is directed by a woman.
Meanwhile, Angelina Jolie talks about her bed scene with Brad Pitt in their newest movie. According to the 'Salt' star, shooting love scenes with her very own husband is weird.
"Love scenes are strange anyway, but when you're doing a love scene with a person that you really have sex with?" the actress shared.
In order to survive the scenes, they just talk about the absurdity so that the awkwardness will go away.
Angelina Jolie thinks it's weird directing his own husband to make love to him in front of the camera.
"It's the strangest thing in the world to be lying naked in a bathtub with an iPad that's showing you the shot outside, while your husband is at the door and you're directing him to come in and make love to you."
The actress even pointed out that they had to do it in front of other people holding cameras.
"I've done sex scenes. But this is obviously different. I almost wish every woman could have this experience," added Jolie.
