ISIS Responds To Anonymous Threat, Calls Hacker Group 'Idiots'

ISIS, the militant group behind last weekend's Paris terror attacks that left 129 dead and hundreds more injured, has responded to the threats levied against them by the hacker organization known as Anonymous.

Following the assault on the French capital, Anonymous posted an ominous video message on the internet, promising an all-out war against ISIS.

"Anonymous from all over the world will hunt you down," Said the speaker, clad in the group's traditional Guy Fawkes mask.  "You should know that we will find you and we will not let you go."

You, the vermin who kill innocent victims, we will hunt you down like we did those who carried out the attacks on Charlie Hebdo," "Expect massive cyberattacks. War is declared. Get prepared."

The threat doesn't seem to have faze ISIS at all. Using the messaging app Telegram, the group issued a statement to its members downplaying Anonymous' capabilities.

"The #Anonymous hackers threatened in a new video release that they will carry out a major hack operation on the Islamic state (idiots)," reads the statement.

The message proceeds to list down a few precautionary measures that members must do to avoid being compromised by hackers.

Anonymous says that they've already made a serious dent against ISIS' communication channels. Softpedia reported yesterday that the group managed to take down over 3,800 twitter accounts used by ISIS and its supporters.

The hacker group has created a twitter account called @opparisofficial to centralize all information regarding the anti-ISIS campaign.

Anonymous isn't the only group to come out against ISIS. Another organization known as BinarySEC also launched a hacking campaign against the militants.

"We here at BinarySec live for the sole purpose of bringing down All ISIS Propaganda ONE website and/or person at a time. ISIS ... Your Jihad is coming to an abrupt end . We here at BinarySec will be one of the driving forces to your end and that's a promise. ISIS... The War Is On." Says their statement.
