Attention all men: Forget about taking the pill, a British ice cream maker has created a treat that includes 25 mg of Viagra per scoop.
According to Latin Times, Charlie Harry Francis invented a dessert that can help with erectile dysfunction - a blue-hued ice cream laced with 25mg of Viagra per scoop. The flavor, titled "The Arousal," also includes champagne.
Francis writes on his blog, "Lick Me, I'm Delicious," that the ice cream was created for a party for one of his A-list celebrity clients. Francis told the Latin Times, "It's all very secretive, we've had to sign a confidentiality agreement so I can't reveal the name of the client. All I'm allowed to say is it was for a party and that they were very happy with the end result."
Francis said the custom order was "one of the weirdest requests" he and his team have had ever received. The ice cream maker said he spent days developing the recipe and stated that "incorporating the Viagra was relatively easy."
"We make any flavor of ice cream for people's events. Our client approached us and asked if it was possible. And it was," Francis told Latin Times. "We spent a couple of days in our development kitchen working on it, incorporating the Viagra was relatively easy, making it taste nicely of champagne was harder."
Francis made headlines last year for his glow-in-the-dark ice cream using Jellyfish luminescence protein. When asked if Francis would offer the flavor to the public, he replied, "Well, if they want it yes, all our ice cream is made custom to each event, so if someone in the future wants Viagra ice cream I'm sure we can make it for them."
Viagra is available in 25 milligrams, 50 milligrams, and 100 milligrams. For most patients, the recommended dose is 50 milligrams, which can be taken with or without food up to four hours before sexual activity, according to the National Institutes of Health.
Francis, who grew up on an ice cream farm in South West Wales, is currently working on creating the world's first flammable ice cream.
