During his podcast interview on Wednesday, the 'Focus' actor stated that he is now considering the said field. The rapper and songwriter believes that he might have a future in governing the public. He also thinks that he can be of great help to other people.
"As I look at the political landscape, I think there might be a future out there for me. They might need me out there," stated the actor during his first ever podcast interview.
"This is the first year that I've been incensed to a level that I can't sleep. So I'm feeling at some point in the near future I will have to lend my voice to the conversation in a somewhat different way," the rapper added.
Now that Kanye West has revealed his desire to run for the office of the president in the next election, many Hollywood stars are getting encouraged to follow his steps. Will Smith might be the next in line since the actor does not like how the current politics works. He feels the burden to make a difference and keep it growing.
The Concussion actor revealed that he does not want to remain on the same place for a long period of time. He has always wanted to improve. Will Smith has also expressed his love and dedication to his country - America.
"I'm a climber. If I see a mountain, I have to climb it. I'm not a camper. I don't like hanging in one place too long," the actor said.
"I think at this point, I'm elevating my ability to be useful in the world. I think that's what my grandmother always hoped, that I would make myself useful to people in this lifetime," Smith added.
