Study: The Most Common and Overlooked Reason Why People Can't Lose Weight

So many people these days have taken it upon themselves to change their lifestyle to be fit. I have seen people hit the gym more than I used to which for me is a very good indication that they really do care about themselves.

There are a number of things we can do to keep us healthy, eat right, train right and somehow there is that need to take a mirror selfie in the gym probably to show others that we really did spend time in the gym. However, there is one other thing that is usually forgotten by many. Something so common that often times get taken for granted.

If you're all wondering the fuss is all about, it starts with the sexy letter S, sleep. Yes, sleep is often times overlooked by many but as we all know, it is one very important factor to become healthy and fit.

People train like crazy at the gym, eating a strict diet and clean nutrition plan, but they still don't get anywhere near their desired goal. And unless there is some medical reason why it is so, the most common cause why all the hard work is going to waste, is as simple as, a lack of quality sleep.

According to a study, those who get less than six hours of sleep a night gain twice the  amount of weight over a period of 6 years, compare to those who get seven or eight hours of sleep every night. Other results have revealed that those who get an average of five hours of sleep at night has an approximately 73% chance of being obese over those who get longer sleep.

Yes, that's 73% chance of being obese, despite the exercise, eating right and clean, and the hard work you put into everyday to achieve your desired outcome. Looks like you should concentrate more in doing your work-out under your sheet every night and get a quality "eye-shut" exercise
