Gwendoline Christie Net Worth: 'Star Wars' Star Worked With Real Bear on 'Game of Thrones' [VIDEOS]

A true "Game of Thrones" fan could easily be reminded of that episode where Brienne of Tarth had to face off with a grizzly bear.

As it turns out, the bear wasn't computer generated (as most would believe, given that there's a lot of CGI done in the show itself).

On Monday night's episode of "The Late Late Show with James Corden," Gwendoline Christie revealed that the bear she fought was, in fact, real.

"It's a real bear," answered Christie after James Corden asked if it was "a man in a bear suit, is it a CGI bear, or God forbid, is it a real bear?"

As it turns out, the bear is named Bart the Bear. Also known as "Little Bart," the bear is actually a total professional. You probably saw him on "Into the Wild" and "Dr. Doolittle 2."

James Corden seemed highly concerned for Gwendoline's life while they were shooting the scene. Christie later reassured him that there was a low electric fence within the area for her own safety.

"It was a highly trained bear," Gwendoline Christie admitted. "It had its own trailer, [...] it had been at the location in Los Angeles for two weeks to climatize, it needed to have country western music playing at all times to soothe it."

Of course, James Corden was still in disbelief of all the new information. Gwendoline Christie simply replied, "This is real."

She even added, "And when it was good, it was fed cream in a frying pan with a really long handle. And when it came out of its trailer, you had to give it a round of applause."

Gwendoline Christie net worth is $500,000. Catch her when "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" hits theatres on December 18 and when "Game of Thrones" premieres its sixth season on HBO next April.
