Just when people were said with the premature closing of The Rainbow Bagels, a new donut is available in the market, which will make foodies weep with happiness. Yes, the rainbow doughnuts are not only great too look at, but also delicious to try out.

Last October, Brooklyn residents were crazy about the rainbow bagels, Moe's Dough, also in Brooklyn, recently decided to capitalize on the trend and invented the glorious rainbow donut.

The donuts were totally sold out on last Sunday, their opening day, it seems that everyone loves a rainbow donut.

The donuts are available in two different flavors, namely chocolate and vanilla, according to Mashable. Additionally, there are two types of rainbow doughnuts, one with the rainbows on the outside, and the other with rainbows on the inside.

The bakery's Instagram account shows a chocolate-covered version in addition to the original - you might call that one a surprise-inside rainbow doughnut, and people have been going crazy over this stuff.

New York hasn't reached its novelty pastry saturation point yet and it's hard to say when - or if - that will happen.

If this thing starts flying across Instagram, the Moe's team better be prepared to handle the onslaught of novelty pastry chasers, or else they, too, could implode like the Bagel Store. They might even close down for renovations, which sadly will make everyone lose one more much - loved rainbow food.

So, finally, New York residents can be happy and enjoy a rainbow diet without losing heart and waiting for the rainbow bagel from The Bagel Store, which unfortunately has closed down for an indefinite period citing the cause of renovations.

In the meantime, if any of you spot any rainbow colored food, don't forget to spread the news. After all, it's always good to have multi - colored food, and Spring is the best season for enjoying that.
