A man participates hitting and saucepan and shouts calling for the resignation of the government and against the government's management of the coronavirus crisis during a protest by residents of the neighborhood of Salamanca on Calle Nuñez de Balboa on May 13, 2020, in Madrid, Spain. Some parts of Spain have entered the so-called "Phase One" transition from its coronavirus lockdown, allowing many shops to reopen as well as restaurants who serve customers outdoors. Locations that were harder hit by a coronavirus (Covid-19), such as Madrid and Barcelona, remain in a stricter "Phase 0" quarantine.

Cookware is one of the integral tools needed in a kitchen and most of you might have stainless steel pans.

Stainless steel pans are a great companion when you are preparing for a feast. According to The Spruce Eats, stainless-steel pans do a great job in making the beautiful browning of the food that is usually done when you are searing protein on your cookware.

The Spruce Eats also stated that as long as the pan has no heatproof material, then stainless-steel pans are good to go on the oven from your stovetop.

However, the nightmare starts when you need to wash the cookware that you have used when you prepared your dinner. Burnt marks might be on the pan that will take too much time and effort.

Why Not Scrub your Stainless-Steel Pans?

Usually, people result in scrubbing the pan which is not very ideal.

In an interview with The New York Times' Wirecutter, professor of materials science and engineering from Alfred University, Scott Misture says that scrubbing will not only damage the cookware permanently but food can also get stuck in the pits or crevices from scrubbing which makes it more challenging to clean in the future.

This makes us clear that scrubbing should not be done, that is why here are some tips you can do to clean your stainless-steel pans without scrubbing them.

Real Simple shares a cleaning method that can lessen the burden of scrubbing just be prepared with your wooden spatula or spatula, Long-handled nylon dish brush, soft sponge, silicon pan scraper, baking soda, and dish soap.

  • Real Simple adds that utilizing the wooden spoon or spatula, scrape away all the burnt residue of the food.
  • Turn off the heat and add a dish soap then use the long-handled brush to remove any residue then transfer the pan to the sink, scrub the pan using a sponge with warm and soapy water, then rinse.

Stubborn marks

  • Webstaurant Store instructs to fill the pan with water then add a cup of vinegar a bring them to a boil.
