Johnny Cash’s Son Arrested … After Stripping To His Underwear At Canada Airport!

Johnny Cash's son, John Carter Cash, has been arrested in Newfoundland, Canada, as he was returning home from a hunting trip; Cash stripped to his underwear in the middle of the Deer Lake airport. Local police arrested June Carter and Johnny Cash's son on the spot and checked that he was drunk; he was released as soon as he was sober.

Johnny Cash's son, named John after his father, had gone up to the Canadian region on a hunting trip, according to Canadian news outlet CBC, and was getting back home from the excursion last Tuesday when he took it to strip down to his underwear in the Deer Lake airport.

On the way to the airport, police were just told that there was a man either under the influence of some substance or suffering from medical issues - and they were also aware that the man had lost his flight home to Tennessee. At that point, they were unaware that it was Johnny Cash's son.

By the time the police officials had reached the airport, security had already convinced Johnny Cash's son to put his clothes back on, according to Hollywood Life.

As very few people witnessed the incident and it was his first-ever offense, Johnny Cash's son was reportedly released without the police pressing charges. He lost his flight and he waited with the police until he sobered up, but then he was allowed to go back home on the next flight.

John Carter Cash is the only son of Cash and his second wife June Carter Cash, both of whom were the subject of the 2005 award-winning film "Walk the Line," which told the story of Cash's first years, his addictions and how his relationship with Carter and his newfound faith ultimately saved the country star from an early demise. The film starred Joaquin Phoenix and Reese Witherspoon, who won an Oscar for her portrayal of Carter-Cash.
