Simon Cowell Reveals He Is Not Proud of Stealing His Best Friend's Wife

'X Factor' judge Simon Cowell who is best known for his confidence and arrogance has spoken with Mail on Sunday Event Magazine and humbly admitted that he wasn't proud of stealing his best friend's wife and getting her pregnant.

The 56 year old music mogul and his current partner Lauren Silverman reportedly began their affair way back in 2009. When Lauren was still married to her former husband, millionaire Andrew Silverman. As he recalled the past, Simon admitted that he wasn't proud of his action and said, "I'm not proud of the circumstances, I can't hold my head up about it."

Simon and Lauren's affair came public in July 2013, when news broke out that she was carrying Cowell's first child. Recalling that moment he found out that he was going to become a father, he admitted that only thing he said during that time, "This was not something I planned."  But candidly said, "But I remember going to the first scan with Lauren, I called him Tad because he looked like a tadpole. Something just kicked in. I felt unbelievably protective of both of them. I just absolutely wanted him. I just hadn't known that before."

But though both parents had a rough start, Simon said that fatherhood fully changed him, even if he is not a "conventional father" to his 21 month old son he said he completely "adores" his child and taught him everything he needed to know, including "to say please and thank you. Whatever he has he offers it to me."

Cowell also admitted that despite the fact that the 38 year old Lauren is already divorced to her estranged husband, he has no wedding plans yet.

Simon who came from a humble beginning and now has an estimated £355 million also revealed that he is more inclined to leave his fortune to a good cause than to leave it to his son as he didn't like the idea of passing wealth from "generation to generation."
