Kristen Stewart is learning from her career because it gives her the opportunity to discover more of how her mind and behavior works.
The 25-year-old actress once said in an interview that examining and analyzing the character that she'll be portraying gives her the chance to look deeper and wider into her own mind and behavior while she tries to understand why the characters that she'll be playing is acting, thinking and behaving in a particular way and who they really are in the world that they're living in, she reflects her own psychology with the characters and as what she said, it is actually working.
She said that understanding the character that she'll be portraying helps her understand more of herself even if there are always people around her that helps her with that, she's glad that her career can't be the reason why she'd feel awful about herself sometimes, she said because there are times that living a life where her every move is being observed could be hard and sometimes it's the reason why people like her or celebrities lose their self-esteem because there will always be people who will bring them down no matter what. But in her case, her career is even helping her discover more of herself. It slowly helps her learn how to live an honest life like what she always wanted.
''I like to believe that I'm living as honestly and authentically as possible.'' She also said that acting and playing a role of a whole new person allows her to forget the real world and helps her forget that she's shy and anxious. The actress admits that she had always been shy and anxious ever since and it never changed, she's still shy and anxious even if she had starred in some successful movies.
She also admits that she never really thought of acting, she was more on directing and writing but then acting happened and it became her main track. She said that ever since she got herself into the business, it became her passion already and she loved it especially now that she's keeping track of her actions and now doing what she only likes doing.
