Sam Claflin Thinks It's Important to Have Secrets

Sam Claflin admits that he's not the type of guy that would express everything that's going on his mind he said because he's afraid that he might hurt someone.

The 29-year-old actor said that he believes that keeping secrets and not saying everything is a must and that there are some things that are better if left unspoken even in relationships.

Sam Claflin, from the movie "The Hunger Games" and "Love, Rosie" was and still married to Laura Haddock since the year 2013, both are pretty happy with each other and even says that it was love at first sight, but even though both has a perfect bond they both agree that they don't have to tell each other every single thing.

He told Germany's cosmopolitan magazine that he thinks "it's important to have a few secrets even in a relationship" he also said that he's a fan of honesty and believes that honesty is the basis of friendships and relationships but he said that if he would say every single thing that's running on his mind he might hurt somebody and that's the least thing he would want to happen, he's always careful with his words to avoid hurting someone. In his defense, he said that he had always been honest to his wife, when she asks him questions he answers them honestly but still, he doesn't say everything.

Even though Sam likes to keep secrets, which can be scary sometimes, he's still very open when talking about love and how he sees and understands it. He shares how lucky he is that he wasn't able to experience much love failures before he found the love of his life.

"When you fall in love, you put everything into someone else's hands, that person has control over you, which can be scary."

"Luckily however, I'm a pretty fearless person. That's no doubt down to the fact that I thankfully haven't lost anyone I'm very close to yet. But I do think a little fear is a positive thing, as it means you stay alert. Without it, we'd all be super-happy all the time - which I would find unbearable!"
