Ronda Rousey Admits She Is Still Struggling To Eat After Being Knocked Out By Holly Holm

Ronda Rousey admitted that she is still struggling to eat after losing her bantamweight title to Holly Holm.

A lot of fans were disappointed when the Ultimate Fighting Championship superstar was hospitalized after being knocked unconscious by Holm. Rousey's lip was stitched and some of her teeth are unstable.

Talking about her defeat to ESPN magazine, Ronda admitted that she is still recovering from her injuries and it might take "three to six months" before she can eat hard food. She also confessed that losing her belt made her really "sad."

But although, she was left unconscious after the fight, Rousey is still optimistic that she can regain her title and win back her fans again. "Maybe I can't do it all before my prime, before my body is done," she told the magazine, which will hit newsstands on Friday. "But f**k it, maybe I can."

As for the most anticipated rematch, recently, UFC President Dana White thinks that Holm and Rousey's rematch is bound to happen. But it still unclear when the most awaited fight will occur.

"Yeah, the fight's going to happen. I don't know when, but it's going to happen," Dana said at the ESPN's Mike & Mike show.

Meanwhile, Ronda is currently preparing for the upcoming remake of Patrick Swayze's 1989 movie, Road House. She will play the role of a hired bouncer, responsible for cleaning up a rowdy bar, as per contact music.

The filming will start by 2016. After the announcement, Rousey expressed her happiness for being part of the remake, "It is a great honour to play a part in celebrating the life of a man that inspired so many," she said at that time. "I couldn't be more grateful to have this opportunity to pay respect to the beloved Patrick Swayze. I promise to work incessantly to make sure this project is a tribute his family and fans."
