Las Vegas has always been well known for being one of the world's best places for gambling. However, in recent years it has also become known for other reasons. Vegas is a foodie's dream with some of the finest places to dine in the world. So, whether you're taking a break from casino gambling or preparing to head off to a show; consider dining at one of these top restaurants.

For those who enjoy Mediterranean Cuisine with a twist then Olives is for you. One of several Bellagio Casino restaurants, the menu here uses the classic ingredients in different ways. Expect to find dishes with seafood, garlic, olives and tomatoes. Try one of their gourmet pizzas with decadent toppings such as white clams. With Vegas' pleasant weather, diners can opt to dine inside the restaurant or outside.

Restaurant Charlie's

Currently one of Vegas' hottest restaurants, Charlie's , can be hard to get into so it is advisable to make reservations. The coveted table here is the Kitchen Table Skyloft. Seating eight, this table is suspended over Chef Trotter's kitchen providing a unique view of the cuisine. Guests at this table are treated to a special tasting menu. Other diners can expect a varied menu of seafood and meat.

L'Atelier de Joel Robuchon

If you're looking for the finest in French cuisine, you will want to head over to the MGM Grand where you will find L'Atelier de Joel Robuchon. Here guests can see their meal prepared right before their eyes. The dishes here are award winning and the menu has options tailored to fit your appetite at the particular time you are there.

Given these three outstanding choices, it could be difficult to make a decision where to dine. Restaurant Charlie's is probably the best option given its varied menu.
