McDonald's Welcomes New Adult Happy Meal With Six Different Toys to Choose From

McDonald's is one of the most widely recognized fast food companies that provides what are known as "Kiddy meals," which consist of food accompanied by small toys.

Recently, fast-food chain restaurants have expanded their menu to cater to individuals who are still young at heart. They have done this by introducing Adult Happy Meals, which include a selection of six different toys for customers to choose from.

By releasing its Cactus Plant Flea Market box, which was a cooperation with the fashion and lifestyle brand, McDonald's was able to appeal to our inner children in the previous year. Due to its immense popularity, a set of CPFM toys comprising the highly coveted four-eyed Grimace is available on eBay for $30,000.

Moreover, the Happy Meal for this year is officially referred to as 'The Kerwin Frost Box,' it was designed in collaboration with the multi-hyphenate DJ, designer, and streetwear star Kerwin Frost. Those who order the Kerwin Frost Box can select either a Big Mac or a 10-piece Chicken McNuggets with their choice of fries and soda. Each package includes one of the six distinct McNugget Buddy toys that Frost has redesigned. Additionally, there is a Kerwin Frost McNugget Buddy that has his distinctive pencil tattoo inside of it.

Beginning on Monday, December 11, the 'Kerwin Frost Box' will be available at McDonald's restaurants participating in the promotion. The promotion will continue for as long as stocks are available. Frost will also offer more McNugget Buddies-themed merchandise on his website for those unable to visit a local McDonald's. In addition, a contribution will be made to the Harlem Arts Alliance, representing a portion of the revenues from each transaction.

Six Kerwin Frost-designed McNugget Buddies

Initially released in 1988 as Happy Meal toys, McNugget Buddies featured various characters who could be dressed in plastic outfits that could be interchanged with one another. Although some McNugget Buddies were featured in the Happy Meal 40th anniversary toy collection in 2019, this is the first time in 27 years that an entirely new set was introduced: the Kerwin Frost Box, which was last sold in 1996.

Kerwin Frost and McDonald's are reimagining the characters, inviting us to visit 'Frost Way,' which is characterized as a paradise where everybody is welcome to be exactly who they are. The new Kerwin Frost Box includes six new McNuggets' Buddy characters. On the other hand, McDonald's has provided the following explanations for each of the six McNugget Buddies that were developed by Kerwin Frost and are currently available:

1. Kerwin Frost - Frost Way's mayor champions the Buddies and lets them be themselves. He collects art or solves neighborhood issues in his free time.

2. Don Bernice - In Frost Way, the Wise Stylist, an accomplished fashion designer, designs all the Buddies' clothing and gives them harsh advice, which is nice. She is 'don' the absolute best!

3. Uptown Moe - Everyone adores the Frost Way Neighborhood Hero, the no-nonsense, street-smart, supportive guy from around the area. He gives the best spontaneous, inspiring lectures.

4. Waffutu - The Curious Optimist, raised by the Frost Way community. She radiates positivity and can flip any frown upside down with a wand and crown.

 5. BRRRICK - The pun-speaking Cool Guy, Frost Way's most daring Buddy, enjoys techno music and exploring new things. Though apprehensive, he stays calm under pressure.

6. Darla - The Dreamer, a smooth, confident vocalist who relocated to Frost Way to become 'The Frostettos' lead singer, wanted to be an international celebrity. In her free time, she runs the Frost Way McDonald's, where she's employee of the month every month!
