Maroon 5 ‘Sugar’: Adam Levine, Wedding Crasher? [VIDEO]

Following the release of the latest video of the California-based band, Maroon 5's "Sugar," it has been reported that the band consisting of Adam Levine, Jesse Carmichael, Mickey Madden and Ryan Dusick was really crashing weddings when they were making the video for their new single!

It seems like the new single of the band, the Maroon 5 "Sugar," was even more fun in the making that it looks like when watching, as the band led by "The Voice" coach Adam Levine gave couples in Los Angeles the surprise of a lifetime as they appeared in their wedding days - definitely a story to tell their grandchildren!

CNN reports that the new Maroon 5 "Sugar" video came from the band's desire to create something completely new for their new single, and, as newlywed himself Levine suggested, they decided to go out one day around Los Angeles, tour the city and be a part of as many weddings as they possibly could, making the day extra special for those tying the knot in the big California city.

"December 6, 2014, we're going to drive across L.A. and hit every wedding we possibly can, and it's going to be awesome!" says Levine at the start of the Maroon 5 "Sugar" video, according to Us Weekly, then heading off to crash real-life weddings, as the band stood behind a curtain to keep their identities a secret for as long as they could.

The New York Daily News reports that the video was directed by David Dobkin - the very same guy who made the Owen Wilson and Rachel McAdams romantic comedy "The Wedding Crashers," and it featured the band hiding behind a white curtain and sneaking past the wedding guests, then revealing themselves to the newlyweds' delight, as they got a free Maroon 5 performance on their wedding days!
