Glazed Ham Recipe

A maple-mustard glaze and orange add a special spice on the ham.

Ingredients
7-8 pounds cooked, bone-in half ham
20-25 whole cloves
1/4 cup dark brown sugar
1/4 cup maple syrup
2 tbsp Dijon mustard
3 oranges

Directions
1. Preheat oven to 325°. Cut off the tough skin from ham, if there is. Score the fat in a crosshatch pattern.
2. Stud ham all over with orange slices and cloves (as shown in the picture).
3. Put the ham in a large roasting pan. Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 2 hours or until heated through, soft and tender.
4. While ham is baking, make the glaze: In a bowl, combine brown sugar, maple syrup, and mustard; whisk until smooth.
5. When ham has about 40 minutes left to bake, take out the ham from the oven and brush with glaze.
6. Return the ham to the oven and cook, uncovered, until glaze is caramelized and bubbly.
7. Let rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
