Modern Family Season 6 Episode 16 ENTIRELY Shot On Facetime – Heavy Dunphy-Pritchetts Apple Product Placement!

For the "Modern Family" season 6 episode 16, the creators of the show have gone all out to make things different from a technological perspective, as it has been reported that every scene has been shot using different Apple products, with the entire episode being one big Facetime conversation.

The people behind the show have announced that the Apple products used to shoot the "Modern Family" season 6 episode 16 were iPhone 6s, new iPads and the occasional scene using MacBook Pros - in a move similar to the infamous "The One with the Apothecary Table" episode on "Friends," in which an entire story revolved around Pottery Barn.

According to Latin Post, the "Modern Family" season 6 episode 16 is appropriately named "Connection Lost," and will not only be shot entirely using Apple hardware, but the actors of the beloved Emmy Award-winning show will be communicating communicating through Apple's Facetime.

As HNGN reports, the "Modern Family" season 6 episode 16 will see the entire family joining forces on Facetime to help Claire (played by Julie Bowen) find her oldest daughter, Haley (Sarah Hyland) when both of them have a fight and the teenager decides to leave the house.

Searching for her daughter in the "Modern Family" season 6 episode 16, Claire will communicate with each one of her family members to see what they know about the whereabouts of the young woman, and, hilariously enough, things get odd and disturbing fairly quickly for all involved.

According to The Malay Mail Online, Apple didn't really pay for the public placement on the show, but they did provide the people involved with the iPads, iPhones and MacBooks for them to be able to shoot.

As fans of the show might remember, the "Modern Family" season 6 episode 16 will not be the first time that Apple products are featured on the story, after 2010 episode "Game Changer" saw the recently released iPad, as Phil (Ty Burrell) wanted it as a present.
