Burger Earns Guinness World Record

Six days ago, Best Food Net reported a story about a burger from Serendipidy 3 that costs $295. Even with the proceeds going to charity and ingredients that include truffle butter-infused Japanese Wagyu beef and a fried quail egg, the sticker shock was intense.

The price of the appropriately named Le Burger Extravagant has earned it a spot in the Guinness Book of World Records. It currently holds the title for "Most Expensive Hamburger" on the Guinness World Records website, but it seems The Huffington Post would disagree. A slideshow on the site pictures burgers that range up to $10,000

This isn't the first time that Seredipity 3 has gotten a world record for pricey food. Wonder what's next. Some $14 fries, maybe?
