Sophie Marceau Cannes: ‘The World Is Not Enough’ Bond Girl’s MAJOR Wardrobe Malfunction As Cannes 2015 Juror [PHOTO]

The film festival set in the south of France is one of the biggest ones in Europe, and arguably the most important in the world (certainly the most prestigious), and stars parade around the French summer at this time of the year to screen their newest work - or, in the case of Sophie Marceau's Cannes appearance this year, a little more.

The Bond girl (who played baddie Elektra in Pierce Brosnan's third film as the iconic English spy) is certainly no stranger to wardrobe malfunctions in the famous festival, as Sophie Marceau's Cannes appearance in 2005 had the French actress in the middle of a major nip-slip (as she basically exposed an entire breast at the time).

This time around, it was her underwear showing off, as Sophie Marceau's Cannes attendance became the subject of news once more when she went to the premiere of "Mad Max: Fury Road" last Thursday alongside Spanish director Guillermo Del Toro, only to have her dress act up on her.

According to E! Online, Sophie Marceau's Cannes gown, a gorgeous white dress that seemed a little two long (she was practically stepping on it) as it was strapped in the middle - she finished the look with a bold grey choker around her neck, but it wasn't her head that was turning heads in the red carpet.

Express reports that the latest Sophie Marceau Cannes malfunction happened as the 48 year-old actress was stepping up the stairs on the premiere holding her gown to the side to avoid tripping over - but the fact is that the dress parted way more than it should have, revealing her nude underwear, which the outlet called "Bridget Jones style knickers."

According to The Mirror, perhaps the most shocking part of the wardrobe malfunction was that the actress seemed perfectly oblivious to the whole thing as she walked upstairs joined by Oscar-nominated "Pan's Labyrinth" director.
