Apple Music Is Finally Here!

Music streaming industry which is presently ruled by Spotify will be experiencing a major change as the highly anticipated Apple Music launched today. The music provider has been the talk of the town after involving in different controversies.

The newly released robust app offers a wide genre of music that will suit the users' mood and need. The huge collection of music give users the freedom to choose the songs they like.

Early users who already experienced the service state that the available playlists are accurate and geared more towards the users, compared to those lists picked by algorithms.

Apple Music also offers a radio service called Beats 1 which will feature live playlists from famous DJs like Zane Lowe. The radio station will broadcast in specific locations like Los Angeles, New York, and London. Contrary to the ways of Pandora, Apple will hire people to administer the experience.

Another feature of the new music streaming service is Connect, which is a social networking section that allows artists to communicate directly to fans.

Apple Music allows subscribers to enjoy unlimited access to about 10 million songs. To even the playing field, the company priced the subscription at $10 per month which is almost similar to the price of the competitors.

The top competitor of Apple Music is Spotify which has already gained 19.4 million U.S. subscribers. As of December 2014, 4.7 million users are paying for the services while 14.7 million are subscribed to the free ad-supported service. But Apple aims to counter this with its enticing three-month trial period.

The Apple brand will somehow play an important role in the marketing of the new app as there is a cult-like following among Apple fans. The company is expectant that others will join as well. 

One can only enjoy the new app after updating his IOS operating system which can be done through the software update in the device's settings.
