Chris Brown’s House Robbed by His Close Friends, Police Suspects

On July 15, Wednesday, at 2 am the new home of rapper Chris Brown in San Fernando Valley, Los Angeles was broken into by masked men. His aunt was held hostage and eventually locked inside a closet.  The perpetrators rushed off with unknown amount of cash and property. In recent news, Daily Mail reports that authorities think the crime was committed by Chris' close friends.

Close enough to know the rapper would be out that night, performing at a Hollywood club. Close enough to know the rapper was paid an advance of $ 50,000 for said booking. With this information, a club promoter is even suspected to be involved. Close enough that they may have used the front gate to get in, because the walls are too high and risky with wires criss-crossing it. Close enough to know the lay-out of the house as they may have partied there before. The aunt also reportedly heard them say they have to get out before Chris comes home. The incident happened just about the same time Chris was finishing his gig at the club.

The police further said a local gang, Bloods, may be involved. Already Nia Guzman, the mother of Chris' daughter, Royalty, has expressed fears about the safety of their daughter. She feared Chris' friends who are gang members might kidnap her for ransom.

Witnesses testify that masked men entered the home of Brown, which he just bought in May.They wore masks and had handguns. The police are looking for surveillance camera footage that may shed light to the incident.

Days before the robbery, Chris Brown posted a picture in Instagram where he showed off his humongous walk-in closet. It could have provided the lure to the robbers.

This new house of Chris Brown just invites home invaders. Last May, a naked woman, unknown to him, was found in his bed.  He booked her for felony burglary and felony vandalism.
