Parkers Weber syndrome is a rare condition in which the body's vascular system could not function properly causing the affected area, most commonly the leg to deform making it larger than the corresponding one. Those it is still uncertain if this is a rare condition it is usually acquired through genetics as per Genetics Home Reference.
A student of the University of Ottawa, Leclair stated she came across a blog which inspired her to write a post on Lymphedema in which she attached her bikini photo along with her write up, to her surprise it touched and moved lives, helping teenagers all over the world embrace their beauty by giving them an insight in embracing your body as staed on People.
Leclair captioned her photo: "I WONT LET ANYONE DIM MY SUNSHINE BECAUSE THEY ARE BLINDED...ILL TELL THEM TO PUT ON SOME SUNGLASSES CAUSE I WAS BORN THIS WAY." These are strong and powerful words that the teenager wrote that captured the hearts of her followers.
She then made a follow up post stating: "My condition doesn't define me and no way I will let it stop me from wearing a cute swimsuit or a cute dress. I don't fit in skinny jeans or fancy shoes so I have to find alternatives, but I always end up still feeling good about my body," she said. "For me, confidence is the most important part, because when people see someone confident in their body-even with a handicap-they don't have pity but instead admiration, and that's when you have the chance to be a good influence and change the standards of beauty."
Isa-Bella's essay has gone viral, empowering women and teenagers that are struggling with self-confidence and self-worth.
