Prince George’s A-List Party Guests

Prince George, third in line to the throne of United Kingdom, had his second birthday this week, and the guest list was impressive. The event was held at the Anmer Hall in his parent's country home at Norfolk.

There have been more elaborate birthdays, of course, specifically of celebrity children where clowns were flown in from abroad and guests are billed in lavish hotels. But none could have gotten the royalties together like the royal baby, the most famous toddler.

At 4 pm on July 22, guests started arriving. First to arrive was the royal Great Grandfather, Prince Philip. Also in attendance were the Queen, grandparents Carole and Richard Middleton, Aunt Pippa, Uncle James and some young guests for the celebrator.

Unfortunately, royal grandparents, Prince Charles and Camilla were out on tour of the West County and couldn't make it. The life of the party, Uncle Harry, was also on a 3-month visit in Namibia.

Earlier that day, the postman was seen delivering a big bulk of greeting cards and gifts to the royal home, which also sits in the grounds of the Queen's Sandringham Estate.

Last year's first birthday party for Prince George was a little bit more lavish. It had a Peter Rabbit theme, organized by Grandmother Carole.  It was held in Kensington Palace.

It is the conscious effort of royal parents, Prince William and Duchess Kate to give their children the most normal upbringing.  Kate gave birth to Princess Charlotte a few months back, and her christening was celebrated a few weeks before Prince George's birthday.

Prince William is turning out to be a doting father, hands-on in taking care of his children.  He calls George 'little monkey', and gushes about baby daughter who is now 6 months and full of joy. The older brother likes to entertain the little one and there is much laughter in their royal home.
