Capcom Postpones Beta Period For 'Street Fighter V'

Capcom has now gained disappointed fans after the server errors of the beta version of the highly anticipated Street Fighter V. The beta which was supposed to last for five days ended early because of the mishaps and server shutdowns that started since Sunday.

The game seems unable to cater to a huge number of players who are trying to log in at the same time. Engineers have been trying to fix the issues to allow gamers to play and enjoy.

However, despite the efforts of the game developer, they found out that the players were not having a good gaming experience. After three days of testing, the gamers were still experiencing issues.

Capcom has decided to take the servers offline so they can continue with the maintenance. The developer has announced that it will be postponing the first beta phase until they completely resolve the problem to gain positive feedback from gamers.

The company has also posted an apology to the users who were not able to access the game due to connectivity issues. The publisher admitted that the issues they encountered were more than what they prepared for and they understand the frustrations felt by their customers.

Capcom offered an incentive to the gamers as part of the apology but the details are yet to be revealed. Three more beta periods will be issued to test the new fighting game. The coming betas will made available for gaming enthusiasts in Europe and Asia.

The Japanese game developer and publisher postponed the beta period but assured gamers that it will coming back soon.

Earlier, Capcom has revealed new rules concerning the post-launch content of the most anticipated fighting video game Street Fighter V. Gamers will be allowed to obtain updates, upgrades and other downloadable items by simply playing the game.

Street Fighter V will be released sometime in the second quarter of 2016.
