The release of the red band trailer for the Marvel flick 'Deadpool' has been met with positive response from the fans, although there were several scenes that have been deleted from the original three-minute teaser that was unveiled during the San Diego Comic-Con.

One of the deleted scenes featured Negasonic Teenage Warhead (Brianna Hildebrand) telling Deadpool (Ryan Reynolds) what her name is, to which the Merc with the Mouth reacted with admiration and a few swear words.

It looks like 'Deadpool' director Tim Miller had the same reaction to the Marvel heroine's name. Miller recently did a breakdown of the film's trailer and explained why they decided to feature Negasonic Teenage Warhead in the movie.

"I went through the list of Marvel characters and picked a few others I thought could be visually spectacular and fun," Miller told Empire. "And at the end of that list was Negasonic, which I just thought was a freaky, funny name. And I sent this list over to the writers, Rhett (Reese) and Paul (Wernick), and they were like, 'Oh my f--king god, we have to use her!' So that's how she ended up in the movie."

It wasn't just the name that made Negasonic Teenage Warhead a perfect fit for the movie.

"Her name was cool, and we kind of wanted a straight-man to play against Colossus," Miller said. "We thought about Cannonball, but he would've been a stupid hick character, whereas the guys wrote Negasonic as this deadpan goth teen, which was a great angle. She turned out really well."

Tim Miller also revealed that he will need to address the issue between Deadpool and Cable.

"There aren't really many definitive Deadpool villains, apart from Cable," Miller said. "If we don't put Cable in 'Deadpool 2,' I think we'll be run out of town on a rail."

Cable and Deadpool was a particularly successful pairing in 'X-Force' that the comic book co-creator Fabian Nicieza decided to release a shared title. 'Cable & Deadpool' had 50 issues and the pair is considered one of Marvel's best buddy teams.

Will Cable make an appearance in 'Deadpool?' The world will find out when the film hits theaters on February 12, 2016.
